The majority of orthopaedic specialists in Canterbury exclusively refer their declined patients to Harland & Associates to assist them with their ACC reviews. We also represent the patients of many other specialists right across New Zealand.

We are not limited by our South Canterbury location as almost all of our dealings with clients are via email, telephone or Zoom conference.

We have over 30 years experience in the field of ACC advocacy, initially assisting many of the country’s largest employers (such as Air New Zealand, Silver Fern Farms and Alliance) with managing their ACC claims. We now specialise in assisting individuals who have been declined ACC cover, surgery and entitlements (weekly compensation).

THE REVIEW PROCESS

Overturned decisions and review hearings

Our aim is always to get ACC to over-turn their decision, without the need to proceed to a formal review hearing. We are proud to say that we are able to get a lot of ACC decisions overturned this way. If your case needs to proceed to a formal review hearing you will be represented via the Zoom platform (unless your circumstances mean an in-person hearing is required). An independent reviewer will hear your case and make a binding decision within 28 days.
