Have an ACC dispute or problem? We can help you resolve it.

We have over 30 years experience in the field of ACC advocacy, initially assisting many of the country’s largest employers (such as Air New Zealand, Silver Fern Farms and Alliance) with managing their ACC claims. We now specialise in assisting individuals who have been declined ACC cover, surgery and entitlements (weekly compensation).

We are proud to say that our current success rate for getting ACC decisions overturned is over 90%.

Been Declined
By ACC?

Feeling confused/overwhelmed with what to do next? Need some advice? We can help.

Whether you’ve been referred to us by your treating specialist, or perhaps by one of our satisfied clients- our process is the same. We get your signed permission to access a full copy of your ACC claim file and offer you advice as to where we think your case fits in the context of the ACC legislation. This initial service is entirely free of charge.

Building Your Defence

We ask the right questions so you get the right answers.

We will write to your treating specialist and ask the questions needed to build your defence against the Corporation. Our years of experience in the industry means we know exactly what to ask in order to get you the best medical evidence possible.

The Review Process

Overturned decisions and review hearings.

Our aim is always to get ACC to over-turn their decision, without the need to proceed to a formal review hearing. We are proud to say that we are able to get a lot of ACC decisions overturned this way. If your case needs to proceed to a formal review hearing you will be represented via the Zoom platform (unless your circumstances mean an in-person hearing is required). An independent reviewer will hear your case and make a binding decision within 28 days.

Our Fees

Making justice affordable.

It costs you nothing to have us read your claim file and advise you as to the merit of your case.

Our Process:

We are dedicated to representing declined ACC claimants across New Zealand, boasting a high success rate of around 90% in reversing claim decisions.
1

Engagement and Authority to Act:

Once you engage our services, we obtain an Authority to Act on your behalf. This ensures all future communications regarding your claim are directed to us.
2

Initial Review:

We begin with a preliminary review of your claim file to assess its legal standing. We provide a transparent evaluation of your case’s likelihood of success, oHering a free initial assessment. Charges apply only if you decide to proceed.
3

Detailed Analysis:

We determine what medical evidence needs to be sought to prove your case. To gain ACC cover, a claimant must prove that their accident or treatment caused their injury, requiring both medical and temporal evidence. We will obtain the appropriate medical evidence for your specific case, which may involve reaching out to your treating specialist for a medico-legal report or obtaining an objective third-party radiology review of your imaging if your diagnosis is in dispute.
4

Claim Resolution:

We strive to settle claims without a formal review. If necessary, we proceed to a review hearing, preparing your legal case and representing you. These hearings are conducted via Zoom by a neutral third party.
